Masters of Craft

कारागिरीचे जनक

Long before the modern era, our ancestors were the backbone of agrarian India. The Dhor community — skilled in leather craftsmanship, agricultural support, and community service — was integral to the functioning of ancient Indian villages and kingdoms. Our craft was not mere labour; it was art, science, and social purpose combined.

Our elders were the ones who fashioned the tools of war for Maratha warriors, the footwear for royal courts, and the agricultural implements that fed kingdoms. The word "Dhor" itself is rooted in the Sanskrit "Dhara" — the one who bears, who holds, who carries the community forward.

Our Traditional Heritage

The skills and traditions our ancestors mastered are not relics — they are the foundation of our identity and the springboard for modern enterprise.
