Dhor.in was born from a simple truth: our community has enormous potential — skilled people, strong families, rich heritage — but no unified platform to channel it. We built one.

Why We Built This Platform
In 2019, our founder Vijay Kawale sat at a community gathering in Nanded and observed something that stayed with him for years. In one room were a brilliant engineering graduate looking for work, a successful entrepreneur needing skilled staff, a family seeking a matrimony match for their daughter, and an elder holding generations of community wisdom — and none of them had a way to connect.
The Dhor community — spread across 48 districts in Maharashtra and Karnataka, numbering over 1.25 lakh registered members — had no digital home. Youth were leaving for cities without connections. Businesses had no common marketplace. Matrimony happened through word-of-mouth with the ever-present risk of unknowingly matching close relatives. Cultural knowledge was dying with elders.
Dhor.in is the answer to that gathering. It is our community's digital home — where every resource, every connection, and every opportunity lives in one place.
We are not a generic platform. Every feature, every word, every algorithm on this platform has been designed specifically for our community — our languages, our values, our traditions, and our ambitions.
